We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our friendly team in Chingford.

The role:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:15am – 5:30pm
  • Previous main dealer experience essential

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying parts to both retail and trade customers, supporting the workshop team, maintaining stock levels, and delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers and technicians with parts enquiries.
  • Identifying and sourcing vehicle parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Processing parts orders and managing deliveries.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stock control.
  • Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers regarding parts availability.
  • Supporting the workshop by ensuring technicians receive required parts promptly.
  • Handling customer payments and processing invoices.
  • Promoting and upselling products where appropriate.
  • Ensuring the parts department is kept organised and operating efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous Parts Advisor experience within a main dealer environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good IT and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
